Liturgy & Ministries | Music Ministry | Contemporary Choir

The Contemporary Choir leads the music every Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. morning Mass. Instrumentation includes piano, synthesizer, guitars, clarinet and sometimes drum. The music done is of all varieties: mostly contemporary hymns with some harmony parts or descants, some traditional hymns in 3-part harmony, and some acappella singing. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the Sunday Mass. During the summer months, the choir meets one hour prior to the Sunday Mass. The Contemporary Choir consists of people aged 12 and older..... don't let inexperience at reading music stop you!
