Sacraments | Confirmation

Confirmation, along with the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, constitute the Sacraments of Initiation. The Sacrament of Confirmation is imparted with two sacred signs: the laying on of hands and the anointing with the oil of Chrism. These signs set the seal of the Holy Spirit upon us which marks our total belonging to Christ.

Our Confirmation program is directed toward students who are in their freshman and sophomore year of high school. The goal of our confirmation program is to help participants better understand the Catholic faith and the role of Confirmation in the life of a Catholic today.

We meet on Wednesday evenings from September through May. In addition, we ask Confirmation candidates to attend one retreat.
