Sacraments | Eucharist

The Sunday celebration of the Eucharist is the “source and summit” for our lives as Christians. Preparing children to come to the table of the Lord for the first time is a significant moment in their lives and the life of our Church community.

First Eucharist - 2nd Grade and older

Our preparation programs help our children grow spiritually toward an understanding of the power of the Eucharist, and their responsibility to share the gift of Jesus with others. Children must be baptized before beginning preparation for this sacrament. A copy of your child’s baptism certificate will be needed if they were not baptized at Corpus Christi.

Eucharist Preparation Schedule for 2011

Children can come for faith formation on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings from January through May.

PREPARATION:
Sundays (9:30-10:40 a.m.)
Wednesdays (3:30-4:30 & 6:00-7:00 p.m.)

RETREAT & PRACTICE:
Saturday, May 7 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon)
Parents will be asked to give a first and second choice for Mass day/time.

CELEBRATIONS:
Saturday, May 7 (4:00 p.m.)
Sunday, May 8 (10:45 a.m.)
Saturday, May 14 (4:00 p.m.)
Sunday, May 15 (8:30 & 10:45 a.m.)
