Sacraments | Marriage

The wedding ceremony is a sacred celebration that joins a husband and wife together to become a living witness and symbol of Christ’s love for his Church.

It is the official “beginning” to the sacramental life of a couple who willingly agrees to live with and for one another for the rest of their lives.

Schedule a Date

Couples desiring to marry should call the parish office at 701-255-4600. Please complete the wedding contract and bring to the parish office along with fees/payments to confirm/secure your wedding date.

Planning the Ceremony

The parish's wedding coordinator will contact you to arrange a meeting. She will give you a tour of our worship space and assist you in the preparation of your wedding ceremony.

FOCCUS Premarital Inventory

Couples must take the FOCCUS premarital inventory which is offered the fourth Thursday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. You can register for the inventory sessions by contacting Deacon Lonnie and Kathy Grabowska at 258-9115. After you complete the assessment inventory, you will be able to review your results with either a volunteer Sponsoring Couple or in a large group setting.

In addition, Deacon Lonnie will assist you in the collection and completion of the necessary documents for marriage such as your baptismal certificate and diocesan paperwork.

Pre-Marriage Seminar Weekend

The couple must attend a Pre-Marriage Seminar weekend which is held at Corpus Christi. The weekend includes activities, presentations, group discussions, and couple exercises. The schedule consists of a Friday session from 7-10 p.m. and a Saturday session from 12-9 p.m. The program concludes with the celebration of the Mass. A registration form can be picked up at the parish office. You can also contact Joyce McDowall at the Diocese of Bismarck at 701-222-3035.
